The LMG and SMG samples are small: a few strong matches could change their leaders. Switch between Top 5 and All in Glider Statistics to see the complete class lists.
Where are the sniper rifles?
Kar98k has 8 kills, M24 has 7, and AWM has 1. No Lynx kill appears in the current dataset.
Kar98k remains OGDiddo’s personal overall choice in the Motor Glider Field Manual. Preference and accumulated kill count answer different questions: a favourite weapon does not have to top the leaderboard.
What “best” means here
This ranking measures recorded kills, not kills per shot, hit rate or damage per minute. It does not adjust for how often each weapon was carried or fired. More kills can reflect more use, different encounters and personal playstyle.
For now, SKS has the strongest recorded kill total; Mk12 combines a close second place with the distance record. Neither result guarantees the same outcome for another pilot.
New matches, weapon choices and future balance changes can reshape this order. This article preserves the 19 September snapshot; the linked rankings update as new matches sync.
