What do 279 Motor Glider flights reveal? OGDiddo’s telemetry connects 239 kills, 1,592 kilometres, 34,477 damage and more than 100 tanks of fuel into one airborne combat record.

The Motor Glider is more than transportation. In the right hands, it becomes a mobile firing position, an escape route and one of PUBG’s most demanding combat platforms.

Since August 2026, OGDiddo.com has been preserving the Motor Glider data available through official PUBG match telemetry. This article captures the record as it stood on September 3, 2026.

A flight log built from real matches

That works out to approximately 5.7 kilometres and four minutes of recorded flight time per session, with 0.86 confirmed kills for every flight.

Separately, the lifetime in-game counter was last verified at 4,138 one-kilometre Motor Glider flight medals.

  • 279 continuous flight sessions
  • 1,592 kilometres travelled
  • 19 hours and 13 minutes inside a glider
  • 239 confirmed kills
  • 34,477 damage dealt while airborne
  • 232 unique opponents
  • 195 medal-eligible matches with at least one kilometre flown

239 kills — and very few repeated targets

The 239 confirmed kills were recorded against 232 unique opponents. The database is not being inflated by repeatedly eliminating the same small group of players.

The average confirmed kill distance is 123 metres, while the longest recorded elimination reached 347 metres.

Accuracy also matters in the air: 48 eliminations were confirmed as headshots. That is just over 20% of all tracked Motor Glider kills.

Five kills were classified as direct air-to-air eliminations, while 11 victims were identified as enemy pilots. These encounters remain some of the rarest and most difficult records in the entire flight log.

DMRs rule the skies

The weapon data shows a clear pattern. The Mk12 and Dragunov share first place with 47 confirmed kills each. The SKS follows with 38, while the SLR has 34.

Together, these four DMRs account for 166 of the 239 tracked eliminations — almost 70% of the complete kill database.

A Motor Glider creates distance, movement and unstable firing angles. DMRs offer enough damage and velocity to punish exposed players while remaining controllable from a moving aircraft.

Erangel is the dominant battlefield, producing 157 confirmed kills — roughly two-thirds of the complete record.

More than 100 full tanks burned

Fuel telemetry is available for 142 matches. Across those matches, OGDiddo used 10,106.7% of a Motor Glider fuel tank — the equivalent of approximately 101 full tanks.

The aircraft was refuelled 172 times, adding another 16,009% of tank capacity across all recorded stops.

  • 90% of a tank used per 10 kilometres
  • Approximately 9% of a tank per kilometre
  • An estimated full-tank range of 11.1 kilometres
  • 20 fuel-outs while the glider was still airborne

Fuel range is not a promise

The 11.1-kilometre figure is an observed average, not a guaranteed maximum. Climbing, turning, searching for targets and spending time above the battlefield can all reduce the useful range of a flight.

Fuel ran out in approximately 14% of the matches with sufficient telemetry. Even an effective combat flight can quickly turn into an emergency landing.

What the numbers teach us

  • Plan the route before takeoff: a safe flight needs fuel reserved for repositioning and returning to the zone.
  • Refuel early: 172 refuel events across 142 measured matches show that fuel cans are essential for sustained air operations.
  • Choose a DMR: nearly 70% of OGDiddo’s confirmed kills came from the Mk12, Dragunov, SKS or SLR.
  • Prioritise positioning over speed: the highest recorded speed is 135 km/h, but altitude and a safe route matter more.
  • Always keep an exit plan: twenty airborne fuel-outs prove how quickly a normal flight can become an emergency.

The record keeps growing

These numbers are a snapshot taken on September 3, 2026. New matches, flight sessions, kills, damage and fuel events are added automatically as more PUBG telemetry becomes available.
